- QUESTION? Was his middle name really Owen? His father-in-law was Owen Franklin. Is it possible that someone mixed up the two names, before knowing Rachel's father's name thinking that the son Owen Franklin Lindsey was named for his father?

I had his death listed as 1845, but this can't be right, since he is in the 1850 census!

Notes |
- Probably Elizabeth and Micajah were married in South Carolina, in the Spartanburg area, as Micajah and some of the McClurkin's had land dealings in the 1790's in that area. However, Rutherford County NC is a possibility, since they had land dealings there, also.
Jane McClurkin's will in Jeferson Co. AL references her daughter Elizabeth Lindsey, wife of Micajah

Does anyone have the exact location of the Providence cemetery in Itawamba County?
I show a James Owen Lindsey buried at the "Providence cemetery at Red Bay".
I found a Providence Church at Shottsville. And I see there is a Red Bay, Alabama, just across the state line from Itawamba County.
Thanks in advance for the help.
