      Letter dated 24 July 1910 from John Micajah Lindsey to Benjamin S Lindsey says that Lee was in the 26th MS regiment and was discharged from the army at Bowling Green, KY. He later served with the 2nd MS Cavalry for 16 months, until the end of the war.
